Its conical shape, dense foliage, and spiky needles create an impenetrable barrier against predators, symbolizing strength and resilience. The tree's native habitat ranges from the coastal areas of central Chile to the western Andes in Argentina, where it can withstand harsh climatic conditions like strong winds and dry environments. ​
